About Aliss

Aliss has a light and spacious studio, The Stitchery at The Welsh Mill  Frome and offers sewing courses, making workshops and individual tuition. She also takes commissions for bespoke gifts, hand-crafted bags and accessories; offering a choice of styles and fabrics.

Aliss heads up the Frome Lantern Parade with Mel Day, now an annual town Christmas event! ​

​She also shares visible mending skills with Indigo Frome

Aliss trained in Fashion Design and Pattern Cutting at Art School, has worked alongside designers in London and made stage costumes for theatres in Brighton & Chichester. She's taken courses in Lantern Building, Banner Making and Carnival Arts. 
Aliss is a Qualified Tutor and holds Enhanced DBS
