Visible mending is a beautiful and meaningful way to make worn clothes last longer by repairing. During this session we'll look at a range of mending samples and discuss sewing and embroidery techniques. You’ll then practice a few skills and choose a style to sample / use on your garment.
Choose to:
Measure + cut patches
Practice hand or machine stitching
Begin stitching onto your garment
You'll need to bring:
Clean Clothing
Spare fabric for patching
Embroidery / assorted threads for darning
Pins + hand sewing needles
Sewing toolkit
Sewing machine if you'd like to use one
