During this session we'll look at a range of mending samples and discuss sewing and embroidery techniques. You’ll then practice (1 or 2 techniques) and choose a style to suit your garment.
Choose to:
Measure + cut patches
Practice hand or machine stitching
Begin stitching onto a sample or your chosen garment
You'll need to bring:
Clean Clothing to mend
Spare fabric for patching
Embroidery / assorted threads for darning
Pins + hand sewing needles
Sewing toolkit
Sewing machine if you'd like to use one
Skills required : Beginner to Advanced Need to borrow a sewing machine? + £3/session hire fee Interfacing and Bondaweb available for purchase in the studio
