Make a Cushion Cover

You'll learn how to:
  • Accurately measure and cut your fabric pieces
  • Pin and sew outer cover pieces together
  • Advanced > add piping or zip  (see below)
 
You'll need to bring:
  • Square cushion pad  (up to 50cm)
  • Medium weight fabric, approx 1.5m
  • Sewing toolkit > Thread, tape measure, pins & needles
  • Sewing machine *

Advanced Option > if you'd like to add piping and zip, you'll also need :
  • Bias binding ( 2m x 25mm wide for a 50cm cushion)
  • Piping cord ( 2m x 3-4mm thick, for a 50cm cushion)
  • Zip, up to 50cm

Skills required: You need to be confident using your sewing machine
