Come along to a more challenging sewing course!
If you:
  • are able to sew confidently
  • have completed my Sewing Beginners and/or Step2 course
  • would like to refresh or increase your sewing skills 
I've devised another new set of accessories for this course - Lots of lovely projects with more opportunities to design and get creative, using upcycled fabric and different styles of stitching!  Plus as always, techniques that are versatile for use in other items.

You'll be led by Aliss, a specialist sewing tutor offering guidance and demonstrations. We're always a small group so you'll get lots of help.
You'll have opportunities to improve and develop your sewing, as well as learning next step challenges and hand sewing techniques.

Bring your own fabric and haberdashery to make your items - or purchase some in the studio.
We'll all make the same item each time, but you can change it up with creative use of fabric placement and stitching. 
Techniques you can try out in your projects **

What you'll learn:

- Practice, improve and increase your design and sewing techniques
- Sew curves and corners
- Join multiple pieces of fabric (patchwork)
- Try out free motion embroidery
- Add applique / hand stitching
- Make a useful project each week 
Projects to make:
Course fee : £150 if you bring your own sewing machine, or borrow one in the studio + £15

* Please be aware that I do need to have a minimum number of people enrolled in order to run the session
** Some processes will take longer and you may need to complete your project at home
