- Measure and cut out fabric
- Use essential Sewing Toolkit
- Understand basic safety around the sewing room
Once you have mastered how to use the sewing machine, you can then join follow-on workshops, including:
Bring your own sewing machine or borrow one for £3 / session
A small range of materials and haberdashery, threads and trimmings also available to purchase in the studio
- How to make a simple, practical item

- Insert a zip
- Add trimmings to personalise items
- Try a range of hand and machine stitches
