About Aliss

​Aliss trained in Fashion Design and Pattern Cutting at Art School, has worked alongside designers in London and made stage costumes for theatres in Brighton & Chichester. She's also taken courses in Lantern Building and Carnival Banner Making

She has been teaching since 2000 and is based in Frome.
Aliss has Level 4 City and Guilds Tutor Qualification and Enhanced DBS

The Stitchery is a bright and fully equipped sewing studio, and offers Sewing Courses, Creative Workshops and Individual Tuition

Aliss heads up the Frome Lantern Parade with colleague Mel Day. The parade is part of the town's annual Lights Switch On and a much loved annual Christmas event! ​
