Skills required: You need to be confident using your sewing machine

Cut your fabric, add zip closure and piping to make your item look professional!
You'll learn how to:
- Accurately measure and cut your fabric pieces
- Pin and sew outer cover pieces together
- Advanced #1 > add piping and / or zip (see below)
- Advanced #2 > add ruffle edge
You'll need to bring:
- Square cushion pad (up to 50cm)
- Medium weight fabric, approx 1.5m
- Sewing toolkit > Thread, tape measure, pins & needles
- Sewing machine *
Advanced Option #1 > if you have good sewing skills and you'd like to add piping and zip, you'll also need :
- Bias binding ( 2m x 25mm wide for a 50cm cushion)
- Piping cord ( 2m x 3-4mm thick, for a 50cm cushion)
- Zip, up to 50cm

- Extra fabric for the ruffles
Skills required: You need to be confident using your sewing machine
