Advanced Option > if you have good sewing skills and you'd like to add piping and zip, you'll also need :
Skills required: You need to be confident using your sewing machine
* Need to borrow a sewing machine? add £3/session
- Accurately measure and cut your fabric pieces
- Pin and sew outer cover pieces together
- Advanced > add piping or zip (see below)
You'll need to bring:
- Square cushion pad (up to 50cm)
- Medium weight fabric, approx 1.5m
- Sewing toolkit > Thread, tape measure, pins & needles
- Sewing machine *
Advanced Option > if you have good sewing skills and you'd like to add piping and zip, you'll also need :
- Bias binding ( 2m x 25mm wide for a 50cm cushion)
- Piping cord ( 2m x 3-4mm thick, for a 50cm cushion)
- Zip, up to 50cm
Skills required: You need to be confident using your sewing machine
