Make a Cushion Cover

Cut your fabric, add zip closure and piping to make your item look professional!

Skills required:
You need to be confident using your sewing machine

You'll learn how to:
  • Accurately measure and cut your fabric pieces
  • Pin and sew outer cover pieces together
  • Advanced #1 > if you have good sewing skills > add piping and / or zip  (see below)

  • Square cushion pad  (up to 50cm)
  • Medium weight fabric, approx 1.5m
  • Sewing toolkit > Thread, tape measure, pins & needles
  • Sewing machine *
  • Bias binding 
  • Piping cord 
  • Zip
