Aliss will demonstrate ideas for making use of your upcycled fabric, with the option of using simple pattern templates You will design, cut out and create a useful small item such as a book cover, needle case or pin cushion You will use a sewing machine and/or hand stitching to complete your item Skills required:
For beginners to intermediate; you need to be able to thread up a sewing machine and sew a seam You'll need to bring: Cleaned, old garments / scrap fabrics to upcycle, machine thread, embroidery thread, your sewing toolkit including pins, needles, scissors Bring your own sewing machine or borrow one for £3 / session hire fee |
